People's Legal Welfare Forum (PLWF) is a National Socio - Legal Organization registered under The Indian Trust Act, 1882 was founded on 14th October, 2016 by Mr. UNK (SUMESH KRISHNA). The National Headquarters of PLWF is functioning at "Legal Welfare Bhavan", Edassery Building, Door No.: 7, 3rd Floor, Banerji Road, Near High Court of Kerala, Ernakulam Dist., Kochi City, PIN - 682 031.

Mission and Vision

MISSION AND VISION:

People's Legal Welfare Forum (PLWF) was founded and organized for the purpose of promoting Legal Awareness and Welfare, Legal Literacy, Research and Development, Providing Legal Assistance and Services, Ensuring Social Justice and Human Rights with a view to inculcate and foster National Integrity and Patriotism.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

To promote Environmental, Educational, Legal, Social, Scientific, Cultural and Charitable Services; irrespective of caste, creed, religion, belief, language, economic status and any other disabilities;
To uphold human rights and to ensure opportunities for secure social justice for the entire society;
To promote legal awareness and welfare, legal literacy, research and development;
To extend legal assistance and services to the poor and needy persons of the society;
To provide special care and attention to protect the rights of women and children;

To provide special care to protect the rights of senior citizens in the country;
To preserve and to protect the nature, environment and encourage afforestation;
To discourage and dissuade the public from social evils like drug addiction and narcotics including alcoholic intoxication and consumption of tobacco and allied products to protect new generation;
To disseminate information on the above social evils by imparting knowledge through study classes, seminars, symposia, conferences and advertisements in the media/social media and other publications;
To fight against social, economic and moral maladies and evils like corruption, nepotism, smuggling, gambling, etc., for emancipation of the society by resorting to appropriate and effective legal actions before the government authorities concerned;
